Please take note of the following Terms and Conditions

Catering Terms and Conditions

A 70% deposit is required on acceptance of the quotation.  The outstanding balance is payable in full the day before the function.  Cancellation of your booking 20 or more days before the event we will retain 15% of your payment as a cancelation fee. Cancellation of your booking 10 or more days before the event we will retain 50% of your deposit. Cancellation 10 or less days before the event we will retain the full 70% deposit paid. Any cancellation within 48 hours will result in the full cost of the function. This quotation is valid for 7 days.  

All food and equipment will be cleared out 2 hours after the agreed serving time. The quality of the food cannot be guaranteed should there be a delay in the serving time. Any overtime will carry a penalty fee of R250.00 per hour. We cannot change the serving time on the day of the event as we work on a tight schedule.

Please provide us with a dedicated water point to assist in our food preparations, so we can wash our hands throughout the day.

Please make provisions for extra containers for leftovers. Under NO circumstances will any of our catering equipment be left behind at your function to extend serving time.

Please ensure that we have easy access to our vehicles after the function to load our equipment. There will be a penalty fee for extra time spent due to delays.

Please ensure that we have sufficient directions so we do not struggle to find your venue/address. Ensure that your phone is always switched on in case we need to contact you!

NB! You are responsible for ensuring sufficient cover for the braai and serving areas in case of bad weather. If we need to serve at night, please supply adequate lighting.

Please supply our staff with ground cover/protection if you want us to load, cook and prepare the food on paving or any sensitive floor area. Our equipment is checked for leaks, but fat spills can occur while serving or moving our equipment. We cannot be held responsible for any damages caused by spills if you do not provide ground cover.

 Please inform us of any special dietary requirements when accepting the quotations, as these can result in additional charges.

Please sign the quotation as well as our terms and conditions to confirm your booking. Once received, we will send you an invoice with banking details. 

Compulsory catering additional charges:

1 x Chef & Assistant R1 350.00 per team
Delivery & Collection

R280.00 (Minimum charge)
or R8.00 per km

Refundable Breakage Deposit R400.00

 

Additional waiters are available at R600.00 each for the first 5 hours, thereafter an additional R200.00 per hour will be charged.

All cutlery, crockery & serving items are included. We do also hire out glasses, tables, chairs, tents, etc. A price list can be found on our website.

Please note: The refundable breakage deposit applies only when additional hired items are included in your booking.
